A gospel-centered community that believes in , grows in, and shares the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Crossing Community Church of Bulverde is a confessional community of believers. We believe that the foundation of belief in the gospel is the expositional preaching of God’s Word, the Bible. The teaching of the Scriptures leads to life giving faith in salvation and to public confession of that faith. Confession is the outward expression of an inwardly changed person. The church is a community of the redeemed, living in community in such a way that reflects inward belief.

We affirm that when a believer is in Christ that they are a new person that begins a new life. In this new life we all start to see our lives and world around us differently. The Holy Spirit begins to change us and mature us in our faith. It is the responsibility of the local church to support each other in this process of growing in our faith. The local church helps its members grow in knowledge of Jesus Christ, grow in unity as a body, and grow closer to the Lord in holiness through accountability. The leaders of the church are gifts given to the church for the purpose of training and equipping members unto maturity so that the body would function as Christ has intended.

We believe that as believers Jesus Christ has commanded every single one of us with one common mission, to make disciples of all nations. Though we are gifted differently, no one is exempt from this command of Christ. We are created to be witnesses and ambassadors for Christ in the world that we live in. As members, we are expected to be active on mission in our daily lives in our communities, in our state, in our nation, and unto the nations. As we engage in this mission to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord builds his church, his bride. We are to share his gospel with the lost and plant biblical churches through multiplication locally and abroad.
